Poison Is Not Partisan
The mass poisoning of the American people is undeniable.
From a basic observational level, it is evident that…
Obesity rates continue to skyrocket.
There is a mental health crisis.
Gut and digestive problems have become the norm.
Most people are on some daily medication.
The fact that pesticides, obesity rates, and school lunches are being talked about at a government level shows the overwhelming desperation citizens feel about this issue.
With a world of information at our fingertips, people are more informed than ever on the reality of the United States’ food and healthcare system. The “health and wellness” trend continues to rise, as the health and wellness market in America hit $480 Billion in 2024 (and I still see ice baths on my FYP on the weekly).
Homemade sourdough, homesteading, raw milk, and mouth tape are hot topics and clickbait on TikTok and podcasts. Did I know what that was before 2020 (when I ate Wendy’s 4-for-4 on the reg)? Hell no!
It seems as though Americans have fewer cravings for Big Macs and more cravings to feel healthier again.
And that we are realizing nutrition is the root issue.
I was helping my brother study for his science test on cells this past week. As a freshman in high school, he is learning that nutrition is the building block of the cell, fueling all of our energy and growth.
When our bodies are attacked on a cellular level by the food that we eat, we become sicker than ever.
Why would the government want their people to be sick?
The most profitable patient in the United States healthcare system is a sick child.
My mind was blown when I found out that birth control (founded in the 1960s) was the first prescription drug that wasn’t designed to heal. Before this, medications were taken for shorter periods to treat your illness. Once the pharmaceutical companies discovered that patients were willing to be on “lifetime drugs,” it opened an entirely new profit sector for them.
Now, American girls and boys can expect to spend 48% to 60% of their lives on a prescribed drug, according to a Penn State study. It comes down to the money baby.
The cherry on top? The FDA (which approves the chemical additives in our food) is funded by pharmaceutical companies (that profit off Americans being sick).
With additives touching nearly all of the food we eat (including healthy food choices, like produce) it is overwhelming for an average American to try to combat this issue on their own.
If you are a single American mother (or really anybody, for that matter), are you going to pay nearly $8 more for organic, free-range eggs on a weekly basis? Are you going to rid your home of toxic cleaning products and buy all Branch Basics organics? Do you have time to analyze every item you purchase at the grocery store, or are you just trying to get in and out of there as fast as possible?
It is absolutely exhausting to try to filter through the chemical layer that has been put on our food.
It has to start from the top down. That is why, no matter who you voted for, you can be excited and hopeful for the government to be taking a stand against corrupted funding, the chemical additives legal in our country (10,000+ in comparison to Europe’s 300), the chronic disease epidemic, and regenerative agriculture.
